ABOUT US

The San Diego Samskruti Kendra was formed on Akshaya Thrithiya Day, May 16, 2010 by nine enthusiastic mothers with a specific goal to impart Indian Hindu Dharma and values to children of all ages.

‘Kendra’ is not affiliated to any particular spiritual organization or following, but aims to promote the culture of Sanatana Dharma by extolling its various aspects. The Kendra is open to people of all backgrounds, cultures, religious heritage.

Weekly classes are offered to children, teens and adults studying various ancient texts. Service projects are undertaken to foster local community service and spirit of giving in the young minds. Cultural festivals are celebrated in full color to expose the younger generation to the traditions and practices of their heritage. The Deva Bhasha Sanskrit is taught by a wonderful group of volunteers.
